Enchanted Forest- Salem, OR

This week, Roni and I took the kids to the Enchanted Forest Amusement Park in Salem, OR. It was so much fun, and Emma loved hanging out with her cousins and doing the choo-choo ride. We even got to go panning for gold and got some neat rocks that are Emma's new favorite treasure.

Emma's Visit to "Oak Bay" the Seal

Last November, Mark and Emma visited Victoria and went to see the seals at the Oak Bay Marina. Mark named the seals "Oak Bay", so now Emma thinks all large swimming animals are "Oak Bay." We took a family trip to see and feed the seals when we were up for Canada Day. It was a lot of fun and one of the highlights for Emma.

Fourth of July

The Crawfords had an eventful 4th this year, without any fireworks due to Emma's terror towards them. So we ended up just having a fun BBQ with our friends Ben and Teri and then went home and put down our baby for a peaceful nights' sleep. Oh the changes we go through when we become parents.

Happy Canada Day!

We spent Canada Day (July 1st for you Americans) up at Shawnigan Lake with Mark's parents. We had a great holiday, in more ways than one. We left Emma with Mark's folks for the weekend because of our good friends', Jamie and Joyanne Cook's, wedding in Campbell River. These pictures are from grandpa of the fun they had at Shawnie Lake.
