Happy Easter 2007

Emma helps get the eggs and tend to the animals every day. Yesturday, it was the cutest thing ever as she was determined to carry the egg basket all by herself (with about 13 eggs in it). Mark grabbed the camera and we got these cute shots. How appropriate for the time of year we are in. Have a wonderful Easter!

Our Beach Trip February 2007

One crazy Friday night in February, we decided to escape to seaside for the weekend. We had a great time! Since we had the dogs with us, we needed a dog friendly hotel, so we stayed at the Best Western right on the beach. Emma played in the sand and loved riding on the carousel. We had to be careful though, because all Emma really wanted to do was go swimming in the "big baa" (the Pacific Ocean). We walked town, played in the arcade, ate lots of yummy food and candy, fed the seals on the boardwalk, and overall, just had a nice change of pace.

Emma Around the House

Hello Everyone!

Sorry it has been so long since I posted a new blog. I thought I would share how Emma is doing, as she is now 19 1/2 months old. Emma loves reading books (she always has)! We sometimes read 30 books a day, and sometimes the same book multiple times. Mark and I get a bit tired of the books, so I think that Emma and I are going to start using our library card. She also loves anything that has to do with animals, probably because she is surrounded by them. She can officially say "Kokanee", our dog's name and a Canadian beer. Mark is so proud. One of her favorite toys is her Po-Knee that my dad got her for Christmas last year. She is big into her "neigh!"
